This existing rental property within the City’s Historic District was converted to a bed-and-breakfast use by creating suites from all of the existing bedrooms and then adding new Owner’s quarters at the rear of the structure.  A spiral stair off the greatly expanded kitchen connects directly to the Owner’s suite/artist’s studio above.  Original German dropped siding was uncovered beneath the foil/Masonite siding and restored throughout.  The remodeled interior courtyard allows for private, outdoor, entertaining and reflects the Owners’ love of New Orleans.  Indeed, even reclaimed fireplace mantles were also sourced from “the Big Easy.”
