New Historic Fabric
Three new high-end condominiums in the City’s Historic District replaced a neglected commercial building and were designed to complement the historic properties along the block in both scale and form. Each unit includes a roof-top deck overlooking the Annapolis skyline, underground parking, extensive sound isolation and low maintenance materials – primarily brick, copper and mahogany. Each home was detailed in a different architectural period – Edwardian, Colonial Revival and Arts & Crafts – while maintaining cherry floors and custom-milled woodwork throughout. Importantly, an innovative subdivision solution allowed the units to be co-joined across property lines.
